Aims and Objectives

The fourteen objectives of the Council, set out in Chapter III, Article 4 of the Party Constitution and approved by the Central Executive Council on 15 August 2015.

The fundamental creed and vision of the Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council of Pakistan is the religion of Islam, drawn from the Holy Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet, the Hadith, and the Constitution of Pakistan. Its destination is the practical implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa, through which genuine democracy, progress, peace, and prosperity may be established in the country.
Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council of Pakistan shall be as follows.

The Two-Nation Theory and national identity
To promote the two-nation theory, Islamic identity, national values, traditions, and culture, and to take every measure for the security, defence, and stability of the country and the nation.

Implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa
To struggle sincerely for the enforcement of Nizam-e-Mustafa in the country, and to raise public awareness of it through media, literature, conferences, and seminars, while discouraging activities contrary to Shariah and morality.

Peace, tolerance, and social harmony
To create an environment of unity, peace, brotherhood, tolerance, and mutual coexistence in society, and to play a role in ending extremism and terrorism.

Ideological and territorial defence
To defend the ideological foundation of the country, protect its frontiers, and struggle at every level for its stability and for firmness of belief and conviction.

Democracy and the rule of law
To play an active role for democracy, democratic institutions, human rights, the protection and promotion of social justice, the supremacy of law, and just governance.

Protection of the Khanqahi system
To revive and strengthen the Khanqahi system, Islamic seminaries, and mosques and ensure their protection, and to guarantee the sanctity and safety of the places of worship of all religions.

Inter-sect understanding
To remove the sense of deprivation and insecurity from the minds of the public, to end linguistic, racial, regional, and tribal prejudice, and to bridge the gulf between schools of thought through understanding and dialogue.

Relief in disaster and emergency
To provide every possible assistance to those affected by hardship in natural disasters and emergency situations, without distinction of religion, colour, or race.

Youth and the modern sciences
To awaken a national spirit of attachment to the country among young people, to encourage inclination towards modern sciences, arts, and research, to discourage un-Islamic and immoral customs, and to provide education, employment, and opportunity in enterprise.

Urdu and the regional languages
To take measures for the promotion, publication, protection, and development of the national language Urdu, all regional languages, civilisations, and national culture, and to provide literature for their advancement.

Empowerment of women
To secure an honourable place and equal rights for women in society, to obtain representation for them in democratic institutions in proportion to population, and to encourage education, employment, and enterprise for their development, and to work for women's empowerment.

The Kashmir cause
To strive at every level for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations and the wishes of the Kashmiri people, and for their right of self-determination.

Namoos-e-Risalat and Khatm-e-Nabuwat
To defend the honour of the Prophet and the finality of Prophethood on every platform, and to secure the practical enforcement of the Shariah of Muhammad in the country.

A united front against terrorism
To unite with the state and with all political and religious parties on a single agenda for the elimination of terrorism, and to give this need the priority it requires.
The manifesto is not a final document. It continues to be amended over time in accordance with the procedure laid down within it, so that the vision and objectives it sets out may be acted upon in the genuine service, welfare, and reform of the country and the nation.
