Thirty years in the field of practical action
The God-given land of Pakistan is a blessing born of the friends of God and the noble scholars of this soil. Its founding was made possible by the long struggle and immense sacrifices of Hakim-ul-Ummat and Musawwir-e-Pakistan Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal, the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and their great and devoted companions.
Wherever the Muslims of the subcontinent united in the Pakistan Movement under the resolute leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam, the efforts of the great Mashaikh and Ulema in that struggle can never be forgotten.
From the founding of Pakistan through its consolidation and defence, the Mashaikh, the Ulema, people of every faith and school of thought, and the whole nation stood together in every difficult hour as a wall of lead for the progress, security, and survival of this homeland.
For the past thirty years the Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council of Pakistan has represented that same creed and ideology in the field of practical action, and regards it as its destination — a cause for which the Council's founding chairman, Malik Safdar Ali Awan, and his companions have raised this banner with great courage.
The Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council of Pakistan was registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan as a political and religious party on 22 October 2014.
Our mission is to strengthen Pakistan on its ideological and intellectual front, to bring about the practical implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa, and to build an Islamic welfare society in which every citizen has equal access to social justice, human rights, education, health, and employment and enterprise. Making the geographical and ideological frontiers of our homeland impregnable, in complete harmony with the national institutions responsible for its security and defence, is likewise a fundamental part of our agenda.

Central LeadershipAims and Objectives
The fundamental creed and vision of the Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council of Pakistan is the religion of Islam, drawn from the Holy Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet, the Hadith, and the Constitution of Pakistan. Its destination is the practical implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa, through which genuine democracy, progress, peace, and prosperity may be established in the country.

The Two-Nation Theory and national identity
To promote the two-nation theory, Islamic identity, national values, traditions, and culture, and to take every measure for the security, defence, and stability of the country and the nation.

Implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa
To struggle sincerely for the enforcement of Nizam-e-Mustafa in the country, and to raise public awareness of it through media, literature, conferences, and seminars, while discouraging activities contrary to Shariah and morality.

Peace, tolerance, and social harmony
To create an environment of unity, peace, brotherhood, tolerance, and mutual coexistence in society, and to play a role in ending extremism and terrorism.

Ideological and territorial defence
To defend the ideological foundation of the country, protect its frontiers, and struggle at every level for its stability and for firmness of belief and conviction.

Democracy and the rule of law
To play an active role for democracy, democratic institutions, human rights, the protection and promotion of social justice, the supremacy of law, and just governance.

Protection of the Khanqahi system
To revive and strengthen the Khanqahi system, Islamic seminaries, and mosques and ensure their protection, and to guarantee the sanctity and safety of the places of worship of all religions.
Eight further objectives cover the national language and regional cultures, the empowerment of women, the Kashmir cause, the honour of the Prophet, and a united front against terrorism.

Intra-party elections held at Markazi Secretariat
The Council conducted its intra-party elections in accordance with the Elections Act 2017. Seven central office bearers were declared elected unopposed by the Party Election Commission.
Central Manifesto Committee reaffirms the fourteen objectives
The Central Executive Council approved the Dastoor-e-Asasi at Flashman Hotel, Rawalpindi Cantt, setting out the Council's vision and its fourteen aims and objectives.
Council registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan
The Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council of Pakistan was formally registered as a political and religious party with the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Stand with the Council
Membership is open to every citizen who affirms the vision of the Council and accepts its constitution. Applications are received at the Markazi Secretariat and through the central office bearers.
